This is a painting that arrives with full force. Color surges through the foreground with unrestrained energy — red foliage blazing, a single yellow tree igniting the center like a struck match, dark pines pressing in from all sides. Above, a warm ochre cliff face emerges from swirling mist, catching light the rest of the landscape has not yet received.

The birds complete it. A loose flock arcs through the middle distance, crossing from forest into open sky — the painting's one gesture of pure movement, and the one that earns the title its musical quality.

The brushwork is notably varied — dense, layered strokes building the rich foreground foliage with urgency and depth, while the mountain above is handled in broad, soft washes that recede gracefully into mist, a small waterfall tumbling through the lower left, almost hidden beneath the morning's abundance.

秋山晨曲

此画扑面而来，气势全开。色彩在前景中肆意奔涌——红叶如火，一株黄树在画面中心骤然点亮，如划燃的火柴，深色松林从四面逼入。上方，暖赭色崖壁从云雾中浮现，接住了山中其他景物尚未触及的晨光。

飞鸟成就了这幅画。一群鸟儿松散地划过中景，从林间飞入开阔的天空——画面中唯一纯粹的动势，也是令题名"晨曲"名副其实的一笔。

笔法变化显著——密集层叠的笔触在前景堆积出丰盛而富有张力的枝叶，山体则以宽笔软墨从容隐入云雾之中，一道小瀑布在左下角潺潺而落，几乎被这个全力到来的清晨所掩。
