Inscription: 南加高峰揽胜。鲍尔迪山又称圣安托尼奥山，地处洛杉矶以东。其顶峰高三千米以上，为南加最高峰之一。迁居加州二十余年，虽近然从未涉足此山，亦属奇事。去年多事之时，世人为病毒所缠，不甘居家，七月尚爽之时登高揽胜，空山无人，清新幽静，峰顶远眺，美不胜收，真乐事也。二零二一年记于尔湾。

Titled: “Grand Vista from Southern California’s Highest Peak." Mount Baldy, also known as Mount San Antonio, lies east of Los Angeles. Its summit rises over 3,000 meters, making it one of the highest peaks in Southern California. Having lived in California for more than twenty years, it is rather remarkable that I had never set foot on this mountain despite its proximity. Last year, amid the turmoil of the pandemic, weary of being confined at home, I climbed the peak in the refreshing coolness of July. The empty mountains were silent and pure, wrapped in fresh tranquility. From the summit, the distant panorama was breathtakingly beautiful — The whole experience was a moment of pure joy.
